In shimmering motions of midnight blue she’d been twirled out ballroom doors and in to corridors , an obvious destination in mind
;she was lustrous .
As was he who had eyes of liquid steel ,
she’d committed the inescapable sin of looking into them and
he had set loose a conflagration of passion within .
At that precise moment she’d do anything he’d ask of her .
He danced in the way the stars made love to the universe ,urging her on and out the castle , in to frigid temperatures .
She had no qualms of course ; she’d do anything he’d ask of her.
On and on they danced till the sun was high and she had been found with an euphoric smile on her lips , eyes that would shine no longer and her joyous heart ;Frozen
Such is the cost of dancing with the devil.
